Hello,

I am looking for a photo and any other information on a distant relative of mine, Helen E. Ashby. She taught at Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda, MA. She also wrote poetry. Please let me know if you have anything.

Response:Hi Bev, I was able to find pictures of Helen within several yearbooks, the earlist being 1961 and the latest being 1976. I did not have a chance to scan from every book, but this should provide a scan of at least 10 years of service as an English teacher and also involvement with several groups such as the Debate Team!

searching for photos of David GERSON

Hi there,

Great site! I'm looking for senior (or any) photo of David Gerson (my husband) from Walter Johnson class of 1971. Most of his family photos were destroyed and I'm putting something together for our daughter... anything you can provide will be MUCH appreciated. He attended all four years, if this helps.

Response: I was able to find the following pics: Florence McGrath, James McGrath, Jim Callas, Star Callas, Marc Johnson, John Kirk, Robert Park. I also included the whole page each of these pic appeared on. I wish I had time to scan more but am still trying to catch up from my vacation last week :-).

I increased the resolution of the scan and was able to produce a larger picture for Kenneth McGrath but not sure the quality is very good but the best you can get given the small size of the pics in the yearbook and the way they are printed. Maybe with photoshop or some other image program you can smooth out the pixels. Please let me know if you wish to see any other pages.

1963 and 1965 Walter Johnson H.S. Windup Year Book

I'm trying to get a copy of the 1963 and 1965 Walter Johnson Windup Yearbooks. I'm looking for photos of three friends who played in a band with me during that time.

Response: I have an extra 1965 yearbook I can sell but I do not have an extra 1963. We sell all our extra yearbooks for $50.00 each (which helps us to purchase more yearbooks). If you let me know the names, I can scan those images for you.

My granddaughter, Maria Fustero, is a 2005 graduate of Walter Johnson High School, Bethesda, MD. The yearbook index shows her on page 85. Her brother, Joseph Fustero, is a current student there and is listed in the 2007 yearbook on page 100. I would like to see any pictures of them in whatever yearbooks they appear which would seem to start with 2002. Any assistance would be gratly appreciated.

RESPONSE: I was able to find Maria's Sophomore picture (2004) and her junior picture (2005) but I am sorry, I could not find anything for Joseph. Maria was also in several group pictures which are shown under each of the 2004 adn 2005 yearbooks.
